I know. I’ve been there. For twenty-five years, I’ve worked on some of the most intractable world crises and conflicts for the United Nations, government and global non-profit organizations. From investigating genocide in Rwanda and Bosnia to preventing war with North Korea, I’ve worked as a change agent, collaborative innovator and strategist. Through all the crisis and upheaval, I realized something important: with the proper guidance, the very conditions that create uncertainty, confusion and stress can be the catalyst for the deepest and most meaningful transformations. Pain and potential are two sides of the same coin.
